Construction Services
Construction
Material Testing (CMT) is a very important component of overall project
quality control. CMT services provide assurance that proper materials
(e.g. the specified concrete mix) are being placed or installed correctly
(e.g. compaction testing of structural fill). In order to provide high
quality testing services, Allied Engineering and Testing requires engineering
technicians to be ACI and Nuclear Gauge certified. In addition, our technicians
also hold a variety of additional certifications through the Florida Department
of Transportation (FDOT). Allied Engineering and Testing encourages continuing
education in order to maintain the highest of standards.
Allied Engineering
and Testing is an accredited concrete testing laboratory through the Concrete
Materials Engineering Council (CMEC), which is the recognized agency in
Florida that certifies conformance to American Concrete Institute (ACI)
and American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM) procedures and specifications.
Allied Engineering and Testing has also received consistently high scores
from the FDOT in the IID (Inspection-in-depth) laboratory certification
program.
